More questions? We are responding to it.
How much generator power do I need?
It depends on your needs: essential circuits only (less than 10 kW) or full power supply (15-22 kW residential, more for commercial/industrial).
What is the difference between automatic and manual transfers?
The automatic transfer starts the generator and switches the power supply instantly in case of failures. The manual requires your physical intervention to start up and switch.
How long does it take to install a generator?
The complete installation of a residential generator generally takes 1 to 2 days, including positioning, connection to natural gas or propane and compliance tests.
Do the generators work in cold Quebec?
Yes, modern generators are designed to start and operate efficiently even in very cold weather, with pre-heating systems and frost protection.
Does my generator need regular maintenance?
Yes, annual maintenance is recommended including oil change, air filter, spark plugs and operational tests to ensure optimal reliability and performance.
